I think the frustrating thing is that if you are talking to a customer, the customer is often going to tell you what they think you want to hear as opposed to the more honest answers in a neutral setting like Tripadvisor.  

A thought I had after finishing that post was that, in addition to talking to a policeman, it would be useful to know an anthropologist as I bet they would have fascinating insights in unspoken cultural expectations.</description>
